Cancellations and Refunds

1. Scope
This policy describes cancellation and refund handling for transactions facilitated through VDSMart. As a marketplace, VDSMart connects buyers and sellers; fulfillment terms may vary by seller and listing.
2. Order Cancellations
Buyers may request cancellation before the order is marked as dispatched or service is started. Once dispatched or started, cancellation may be rejected or may incur applicable charges as per seller terms.
3. Seller-Initiated Cancellations
If a seller cannot fulfill an order due to stock, logistics, pricing, or operational issues, the order may be canceled and an eligible refund will be processed as per payment settlement timelines.
4. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be considered in cases such as:
- Order canceled before dispatch
- Seller unable to fulfill the order
- Item/service materially different from listing
- Verified damaged, defective, or missing delivery
5. Non-Refundable Cases
Refunds may not be available for:
- Change-of-mind requests after dispatch or service initiation
- Incorrect buyer-provided address/contact details
- Delays caused by force majeure or third-party logistics where delivery is eventually completed
6. Refund Processing Timelines
After approval, refunds are initiated to the original payment method. Bank/card/wallet processing may take approximately 5 to 10 business days depending on the payment provider.
7. Dispute Resolution
If buyer and seller are unable to resolve a cancellation or refund issue, VDSMart support may review available order records, communication, and evidence to facilitate a fair outcome.
